Pump Cartridge Release -Johnson Pump Marine

I'm Tim from Johnson Pump, and today, we'll demonstrate how effortlessly you can replace a motor cartridge in either a cartridge bilge pump or a livewell aerator. To begin, position your thumb at the back of the discharge board and use your index finger to pull the lock tab away from the pump body. With your other hand, gently rotate counterclockwise and lift to remove the motor cartridge. Take this opportunity to inspect the bilge pump or aerator for any debris or damage, as well as the cartridge motor. Whether you're looking to upgrade or replace, the process is just as straightforward – align the lock tabs with the grooves, drop it in, rotate until you hear a click, and you're ready to go.
